New Patient Information
We are accepting new patients! In order to register, simply book an appointment online, and AutoMed will send a new patient registration form to you to complete online. Alternatively, you can give us a call and we can arrange for a new patient form to be emailed to you when you book over the phone.
Fee Schedule
We are a private billing practice. This means that any consultation can incur a gap fee. Our standard fees for consultations are as follows:

Specialised consults such as chronic pain, musculoskeletal and sports medicine may incur additional fees. Any procedures will incur additional fees and these will be determined by the method of procedure. The doctor will advise of these fees prior to your procedure.
Failure to Attend Policy
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know immediately. We require a minimum of 3 hours notice on all appointments, however some appointments (such as procedures) require longer. PLease check, otherwise a late cancellation fee may apply. Or if you do not cancel, a did not attend (DNA) fee will apply.
Workcover and MVA appointments
We offer MVA and Workcover consultations. If you wish to attend for a workcover of MVA consultation, please advise our reception staff prior to your appointment. as you may be required to fill in additional paperwork prior to your appointment with the GP. The account will need to be paid privately on the day, and we will issue you an invoice that can be claimed from your claim manager.

WorkCover and Motor Vehicle Accident accounts are ultimately the patient’s responsibility. Please ensure your WorkCover claim is submitted and notify us of your claim number. For Motor Vehicle Accident claims, please identify and advise us of your Compulsory Third Party insurer as soon as possible – details on how to find your insurer can be found at http://www.ctp.sa.gov.au/insurers.html
Confidentiality
Your medical records are considered a confidential document. It is our policy to maintain confidentiality and security of your personal health information, and to ensure that this information is only accessible by authorised members of staff.
Vaccinations
All Government funded vaccines are available free of charge to those who meet the eligibility criteria and have a Medicare card. Appointment fees are applicable for the appointment. For those without a Medicare Card, we are unable to provide catch up vaccinations. We also do not update Australia Immunisation Record (AIR) for immunisations not provided through the clinic. If you require assistance with AIR please call them directly on 1800 653 809 or visit your nearest medicare or Centrelink Service Centre and contact your local council for your nearest vaccination centre.

Travel vaccination advice is available and a script for recommended vaccinations can be organize on the day.
Transfer of Notes
To transfer your medical records from a previous clinic, please contact reception and we can provide you with a form to complete to facilitate the records request. Typically, a health summary will be provided at no charge, however, some clinics will request payment for full records to be transferred.

If you would like your records transferred from you clinic to another clinic, please contact your new clinic for a request form and have that sent to us. We will provide a health summary free of charge, but a fee will be incurred for a full record transfer. For more information please speak with our reception team.
Non-Medicare Holders
Patients without medicare are welcome to attend our clinic, however, we do not offer services to complete private insurance claims. It is the patient's responsibility to complete the claim themselves. We will provide an invoice either printed or by email, for you to submit the claim yourself.
